COVID-19 - Quick Guide for Parents & Carers - 14/09/2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thankfully at this time, Stockport School remains free of any confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases. We obviously hope that this remains the case for the foreseeable future, and to help support a continuation of this, we must all continue to follow the government advice and adhere to our School coronavirus control procedures, including the use of Year group ‘bubbles’, regular hygiene routes, safe social distancing, one-way systems, social zones, and other necessary temporary adaptions.

As parents and carers, we would also ask that you remain extremely vigilant regarding your own child, and if they at any time, begin to display any symptoms of coronavirus (a new continuous cough, a loss or change of sense of taste or smell, or a fever) that you must immediately keep your child at home and should not under any circumstances, send them into school. You should then arrange for them to get a test as soon as possible, and follow the advice regarding self-isolation. You must also notify us as soon as possible of the test outcome.

I have attached for your information, a quick parental guide regarding what to do should you, your child, or a household member have any COVID-19 related symptoms or concerns.

Thank you for your continued support.
Mr Irwin.
